listeners' stories, advice, and questions

“It makes me proud to share my story.  Why should I share?  I am not the only woman in this situation.  We are not the first and nor are we going to be the last.  I believe that someone will read my story and find hope“.

– Sherley Altidor

Episode 00 : Introduction

My own crisis has allowed me to see that I am not the only person experiencing a crossroad in life.  Relationships are not a cake walk. It is dishonest to put that image out there. And when you face challenges, the last thing that you want to do is face them alone. You may feel as though you are the only one experiencing this low point in your life. But you are not. The ride can and will get a little (or maybe very) bumpy but the flight is full and you are never alone. We are all going through, have gone through, or will go through turbulence. Femme Naturelle is here for you and the voices that you will hear on Femme Parler Podcast are here for you. We would like to help aid in being calm through your storm.

Femme Parler, which in french means, “woman talk,” is a podcast that was created in 2020 and launched in 2021 as a way to speak to women about regaining our power after a crisis in a relationship.

Allow yourself to be still for 20-60 minutes out of your day each week and turn on Femme Parler Podcast to soak in a moment of empowerment. You can read the story here about how my journey started with Femme Naturelle. If you’d like the nuts and bolts of it all, my niche is as a lifestyle blogger for women. Here at Femme Naturelle, I strive to make sure that each and every woman that comes across this blog and podcast is more knowledgeable in her walk through life than before. Each post aims to provide knowledge, understanding, and solutions as we walk through life, with a focus on relationships and empowerment.

Based on my experiences, I will provide you with real life advice and guidance as I talk relationships (of all kinds). Talking about everything dealing with relationships such as infidelity, forgiveness, sex, marriage, dating, defining turning points in our relationships for better or worse and so much more.  I have real life highs and lows just like everybody else and I’ve decided to uplift each and every woman that I can touch during their trying times, to laugh during the good times, and to build a strong virtual community.

I am so thankful where my life has brought me to today. Even through the downs, I still find beauty in the world. As they say, life is what you make. Through this podcast, I am opening up a piece of my world to you in a way that I haven’t before, Although it may seem daunting from my point of view,  I want to give back my knowledge and share my experiences as well as what I learned during my lowest points. I want to share how I was able to regain my power. If what I was able to do for myself and learn from myself can help one person out there, this will all be worth it. The goal is to help more than one, however, so please be sure to spread the word about Femme Parler Podcast.

If I can be a beacon of light to one woman, that alone is powerful. My journey is not your journey and your path will be different. Through this podcast, I want you to come along this journey with  me and I want to be part of your journey.  I want you to cry, laugh, smile, vent and repeat.  I look forward to going on this journey with you!

Listeners’ Feedback

You will have the opportunity to submit advice/questions, where I will provide feedback from my viewpoint in future episodes. I want listeners to have the opportunity to appear on the show and be part of the conversation with me. When I say I want YOU on this journey, I truly mean it! I am thrilled to have you be a crucial part of the life of this show. Together, we learn and relearn and really accept that life is what you make it, so let us not allow a crisis in our relationships, in our lives to tear us down. We are strong, empowered women and no matter where you are in life, what you look like, and who you love, we are here to dig as deep as we can into questions that seem simple to ask but are quite complex and hold heavy weight in relationships (romantic and platonic) and our daily lives. The beauty of going on our own journeys is that they are all so different and we are all from different backgrounds and love different people and we love in so many different ways. I want Femme Parler to be a platform for all of this. Don’t be shy! Feel free to write to in whenever you have feedback you’d like to share!
