Story Time welcomes Holistic Health Coach, Tammi Vaughn, Founder of ITT8KSAVILLAGE. In this episode, Tammi walks us through overcoming trichotillomania, an impulsive control disorder that manifests as hair plucking. She takes us through her past which includes unexpected deaths in her life and coming into her sexuality. Tammi stresses the importance of clearing your mind and being open to gaining clarity on your life in order to start your journey of healing. By doing the inner work to unpack her past as well as embracing nature and camping, Tammi has been able to tap into her healing and hopes to guide others as they work to do the same. Tammi Vaughn is the CEO and Founder of Itt8ksavillage, LLC where her goal is to be ‘YOUR holistic health and wellness journey partner’. Witnessing her grandmother’s battle through kidney failure, high blood pressure, and arteriosclerosis and her mother’s demise as a result of complications of diabetes ignited a desire in Tammi to educate, support, heal, and promote health and wellness to other women. Tammi developed a passion for helping others and as a result became a certified health coach, Reiki practitioner, minister, and corporate leader. The culmination of Tammi’s Reiki practice, health coaching knowledge, corporate leadership training, life experiences, faith, and life-mission “to help people” allows her to create and deliver services and messages that plant seeds for healing, educating, and empowering others along their journey to living healthier lifestyle. Tammi’s love for camping, and the natural healing it provides, led to the birth of #Camping4Clarity. #Camping4Clarity is an all-inclusive weekend tent camping retreat during which clients spend a weekend in nature practicing holistic modalities and participating in the 8 Pillars of Support workshop. Tammi provides support to each client as they journey through the pillars revealing a level of clarity in one or more areas of their life. In addition to #Camping4Clarity, Tammi also provides #CampingWithTammi services curated for relaxation and rejuvenation while comfort camping with Tammi serving as a guide.
