Sherley is a Haitian-American flight attendant who served eight years in the US Army Reserve. Her journey with Femme Naturelle began in 2012 as a way to build a safe space, a community to uplift and empower women in relationships transitioning out of crisis. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and two children.

This week’s Story Time features Australian native and Founder of The Institute of Healing Through Pregnancy Loss, Sharna Southan. In this episode, Sharna frankly shares her personal experience with pregnancy loss and grief in addition to addressing the miseducation and lack of education in the medical field and in society on handling as well as normalizing talking about pregnancy and miscarriage. In addition, Sharna emphasises the importance of processing the experience of pregnancy loss before trying again to have a child. Sharna started the Institute of Healing through Pregnancy Loss in August 2020.

It is an Inclusive space for both Women & Men to have their grief acknowledged through loss.

Within the Institute of Healing through Pregnancy Loss Sharna offers Bespoke 1:1 Coaching for Angel mums to rediscover their identity, confidence & worth after loss, connecting to their Innate Feminine power. Embracing your adversity & your emotions to heal on a deeper level.

Sharna also teaches her Signature Program to Women Health & Wellness Entrepreneurs, so there are more women offering Specific Pregnancy Loss support within their service. This is how Women are going to heal on a larger scale & women can contribute back to humanity in a more meaningful way.

With both her programs Sharna aims to Empower women through their loss experience. Whether it is guiding & supporting women herself or teaching other women how to be that support.

She wants to see a shift in the Pregnancy loss space!
