In this episode, we have Storytime with our special guest, Angela Van Nutt. We begin hearing about Angela’s background as a dancer and dance teacher before getting into a powerful discussion on romantic relationships, self worth, and counseling. Angela doesn’t hold back as she recalls being sexually abused, her miscarriages, and divorce. Angela and Sherley touch on control and intimacy in relationships, trust, sexual freedom, the stigma around therapy, as well as love languages. If you have been sexually assaulted and need help, please do not be afraid to seek help and call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673.

Angela Van Nutt is a 37 year old divorced special needs mom. She has two children, a 10 year old daughter with adhd and high anxiety and a 7 year old boy diagnosed as high functioning on the autism spectrum. She was a dance teacher for 13 years before deciding to move to Florida to be a full time mom in her “happy place” near Disney World. As a mom with children needing continuous care, she realized early on how finding products that fit her lifestyle could not only change her life, but change her finances as well. She stumbled upon the cannabis industry while looking for ways to help her autistic son sleep better and her side hustle became a full time passion. Now she helps people learn about CBD, cannabinoids, how they can help and all while creating the hours needed to still be 100% there for her children. She helps moms, dads and others like her find themselves again and find the time to be themselves!
